Marketing your book is really no different than marketing any other product or service. The biggest "problem" most authors face when it comes to marketing their book is that they are WRITERS not marketing experts. That's one of the reasons blogs are a great way for authors to market and sell their books - because it taps into a writer's natural talents.

I would have to agree, marketing one's book is much harder then most people think. Sure, you can put up a website, but most writers don't know how to get it listed in the search engines, drive traffic, etc. Thanks for pointing out the 8 Week Power Blog Launch - this could prove to be very useful.
