Dr. Mark Hyman is the author of four books and other ancillary products. He’s built an impressive web presence to promote his books, not to mention his expertise.
In addition to the blog which is integrated into his web site, Dr. Hyman utilizes online video to help spread the word about the philosophy behind his work. Oh, and he’s even launched an affiliate program so that bloggers can promote Dr. Hyman’s products and services and get paid a commission on the sales they generate. Despite providing an incredible body of written work “for free”, the comments on Dr. Hyman’s blog chronicle the book sale success he enjoys.
If you take a look around Dr. Hyman’s site… you’ll see many areas are “under construction”. That is the “curse” of a traditional style web site. When you’re building a traditional web site, it’s like building a house. You need to build ALL the rooms when you construct the house, even if you don’t have furniture to fill them all.
However, with an Easy Author style web site, you don’t have to plan that far ahead. The Easy Author style web sites are a lot more “flexible”.
Dr. Hyman’s web presence is truly a “mansion” when it comes to web sites. However, even if you can’t afford to build such a showpiece, you can still learn from and by inspired by Dr. Hyman’s web site.
